Rob Martens

Rob Martens Rob Martens has over 30 years of global experience in strategic planning and execution, contracting and procurement, supply chain management, materials management, budgeting, supplier development, cost optimization and commercial operations across China, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, The Netherlands and The United Kingdom. He has deep experience negotiating and partnering with contractors and suppliers to improve total delivered costs, quality, and service. Determining appropriate end-to-end processes and tools needed to achieve development, delivery, reliability and availability goals.

Rob has an MBA from Keele University, an MSc degree in Procurement from the University of South Wales, NEVI 1&2 and NEVI ISFAH. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS), member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and NEVI, the Dutch Association for Purchasing Management. He is also a certified six-sigma greenbelt.

Since 2015 Rob is pursuing a doctoral degree in business administration (DBA), with a specialization on global supply chain management at Walden University.

Rob has multilingual proficiency in English, Dutch, German, basic French and Mandarin.

Many people say they will do so, or even set out to do so,
but I really do make things happen.

When Rob is thinking through an activity, he is not only working to achieve just the end product but is considering a better process to get there next time, and he will endeavor to turn this into a very real process improvement for use across a business. He is a true deliverer of continuous improvement in the procurement and supply chain management world (former manager).
